Nepal National Football Team grabbed three silverware this year and everybody is proud and celebrating. However, it is still uncertain that whether the national league in Nepal will be or won’t be. All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) was able to conduct and finish Redbull B Division league in rush. But why aren’t they going for the National League?
More than half of the year has passed and there is no any signs of organizing the league. Nepali football is just running with the support of various knockout tournaments inside valley and outside valley. It would be shame for the nation that we are competing in the international level just with the support of Knock out tournaments. There are very very few nations which don’t have their league inside the nation. However, despite the lack of National League, our National Team was able to grab three big tournament back to back.
The All Nepal Football Association had previously announced that they will host Redbull A division as well as National league. But now, they are quiet about that decision made. Even, last year as well, ANFA had conducted the league at the end of the year. Though, our one and only International Stadium Dashrath Stadium has been damaged due to Earthquake, ANFA must find alternatives to that. And they do have alternatives. Football stadium in Pohara, Dharan, Halchok Stadium are good enough to conduct the league. Even, newly constructed ground in ANFA Complex is better than Dashrath Stadium.
Dear ANFA, Where is National League for this year?
