New Road Team (NRT) and six times league champion Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) are doing their best for their return to Top Division.
RCT was relegated last year whereas NRT had quit football three years ago. Both clubs are taken as one of the successfull clubs in Nepali football history. Currently, in B Division league both have 7 points from 3 matches and leading the standing. NRT remains at the top due to better goal difference whereas RCT are second. Similarly, other strong teams Madhyapur Youth Association and Boys Union are also in the race for promotion.
Top three clubs will be promoted for top tier league whose date is yet to be announced.
