A 85th minute strike from striker Martins keeps the hope alive for Three Star Club to qualify for the next round of the AFC Cup 2017 Qualifiers. The Cambodian side (Nagaworld FC) took the lead in the 28th minute. Three Star looked desperate for the equalizer throughout the game and finally their they succeed when martins fired the ball past the goal line from close range. Stars has all the possession.
The draw means Three Star leads the 3-team table with 4 points from two games. Nagaworld FC lie at second with 1 point and host Erchim FC are at bottom win zero point. Those two have played only a single game. Erchim FC and Nagaworld FC will play each other with the host already out of the contest and the latter need a clear win with goal margin of more than 2 for qualification.
