The rumors are that Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is planning to give continuity to Nepal Premier League (NPL) but with different name. The name could be Everest Premier League (EPL). The league is expected to be hosted before Dashain. However, detailed information about the league is yet to be finalized. The ultimate decision will be made soon according to the close source.
The league will be of T20 formatand will comprise of franchise based teams. In the the first edition, eight franchised based teams has taken part with various sponsor.
